Summary
Humans start waking up in lab cells rudely discovering they are not quite human anymore but “Illusives” half demon / half human designed by the head science unit of the Nether Realm and its malicious aims to gain control of the realm above.
Some take to their new transgressive roles and some do not. Those who don’t must navigate in isolation through the realm enduring all its servants and armies of demons to find a way back and regain their humanity.
